The Peanut Gallery

Hi readers!  I know that you all are out there as several of you have written me to tell me that you have tried a recipe or are entertained by something I wrote or just like the radishes on the title bar (okay, in reality several of you means that I've heard from my Mom and KMH and of course Mw has been subjected to reading various versions of posts and is my recipe guinea pig and favorite eating companion).  Thanks!  I appreciate the kind words.  So....Not to be ungrateful for all of the feedback so far, but I'd love it if you'd take the time to comment on posts, when you feel like it and if you have something to say, of course.  It's nice to know that people are reading.  I'd also love to hear about the topics that you are interested in reading about so I can make sure my readers are kept interested and happy!

  1. Hi Hannah! Yes, I can do you the lovely service of posting right here. I still can't get over how we both came independently to Blogspot and now our pages are linked:) What I must say is that your incredible passion for life is contagious and I am particularly excited to continue following your recipes. Dear Julia, I am your Julie. I got a cookbook at the library today called Fish Forever and I also borrowed Moosewood Restaurant Daily Special. I'll let you know how it goes. Last night I baked five sweet potatoes at 350 F for an hour and then mashed them up and added four tablespoons of nonfat sour cream. Pop thought that was an oxymoron, but it worked. I heated some up tonight to go along with my pan-seared tilapia and it was delish. I tried your black bean soup recipe one night last week, all except for the cumin which I discovered my ex-boyfriend must have taken with him back in June, and that soup was nothing short of exquisite. It tastes really great cold, too. Like a very yummy gazpacho. Love, KMH
